| Alex Turnacliff |
Alex Turnacliff is a program associate in the department of Production and Iowa Partnerships at the Stanley Foundation where he films and edits foundation video reports and assists in managing the foundation’s social media network.
Before joining the organization, he spent three years teaching English in Zhengzhou, China, and has traveled extensively in Asia.
Turnacliff has produced original documentaries on three continents, including the full-length feature Cycles of Sound: Music’s Role in Ghanaian Identity, and contributed to several other films. He graduated from New York University in 2005 with a degree in cultural anthropology and documentary production and took advantage of the school’s global connections by studying abroad in both Italy and Ghana.
